Little street libraries are everywhere- they may not have cafes, comfy chairs and maker space hubs, but they do hold surprises and a whole lot of trashy novels. Wait what!? The one library I thought would be at her dazzling best was the City of Perth library! But I arrive today to find her in the middle of a facade change. It’s like arriving at someone’s house and they still have their curlers in 😝 so, anyway not sure what the story is with a facade change but she is still beautiful on the inside. The great library crawl continues with a roadtrip stop at the Bridgetown public Library. Library #7 in my ‘great library crawl’ is Ruth Faulkner Belmont Library and Museum. Pretty spectacular and state of the art with a funky books return mechanism and a very cool museum. Also has all the things that make a library a library- book nooks, comfy chairs and spaces for computers.
